The Category is Neutrals🧴
My birthday is just a few days away and I had an idea to pull together a neutral-toned fit for one of the events. But here’s the problem – most of my neutrals are sweats, oversized hoodies, and t-shirts. Cozy fits are my go-to, but this time around I wanted to wear something that makes me feel posh and luxe, giving rich aunty just pulled up with the big boys. I figured I’d find a beige turtleneck to match a cream mini skirt I already have in my closet.
It was too late in the game to order something online, given holiday delivery times have been unpredictable. So, I went to the mall to see what I could quickly piece together.
Every store I went into did not understand the assignment, reminding me why I stay away from shopping at the mall. I decided to give one more store a chance before calling it quits. I picked up the only beige turtleneck I could find and headed straight to the dressing room. On my way to try on the top, I noticed a pair of pants that looked like it could be a good match. I grabbed them and finished my journey to the dressing room. Surprise surprise, I was obsessed with the look and fit!
So, where’d I get this fit?
