8AM 🕗 in Sorrento
— This journal entry was written in July 2021 after enjoying much needed rest in Italy.
It’s 8’O’clock am in Sorrento
Yes, I’m in Italy…again
and I’m still in bed recollecting the memories captured over the past week.
From wandering the streets of Positano, cooking like Chef Curry in Sorrento, chartering a boat in Capri, to having gelatos in Amalfi – what an experience!?
I’ve visited Europe in past winters, but only dreamed of romantic summers like the one depicted in the movies.
*Somebody cue Under the Tuscan Sun, neeeow!*
Visiting Italy this time has surpassed anything I could’ve imagined it would be. I could go on and on about some of my favorite moments while being here, but what really matters is that God made a way for me to build friendships, discover new music and have endless enjoyment.
What Italy taught me is to be open to new experiences, new people, and new beginnings.
Maybe the next time I visit Italy I’ll have a love story to share with you.
Until then…
With love, T.
More from my trip to Italy!
